OXFORD HOSTS PRESTIGIOUS ACADEMIC UNION BUSINESS MEETING AND AWARDS PRESENTATION

Oxford, UK — On Monday, 2 December, the historic city of Oxford welcomed leading global professionals for a remarkable business meeting and awards presentation organized by the Academic Union. The event brought together an elite group of owners, CEOs, and leaders from Brazil, Bulgaria, Ghana, Malaysia, and Portugal.

The event featured insightful keynote speeches and panel discussions that highlighted global trends in health and wellness, technological advancements in commercial devices, and innovative approaches to business management. Delegates had the opportunity to share best practices and forge strategic partnerships during networking sessions.

One of the highlights of the day was the Awards Presentation Ceremony, which celebrated outstanding contributions to industry and innovation. Recipients were recognized for their excellence in service, leadership, and impact in their respective fields. Another highlight of the ceremony was the opening of Prof Dr Yashar Ibadov Department of Alternative Psychology.

EBA Director Ivan Savvov meeting with President of TLM Orthotic Centre Dr Li Ming from Singapore: 01 March 2023, EBA Council Chamber, Oxford

The two parties gave presentations and discussed innovative approach in producing orthoses, including braces splints and orthotic footwear. Particularly amongst the topics was the usage of orthotic TLM insoles and braces can help to care illnesses such as bunion, varicose and knee osteoarthritis bib-surgically.

They agreed that this personal meeting in Oxford provides an important opportunity to look at expanding TLM Orthotic Centre into the UK and EU and assistance from international EBA Community.

On behalf of EBA, Ivan Savvov presented Prof Ming Li with Socrates award for continued contribution to the development of modern society in the medical field.

Dr Li Ming praised EBA for ongoing commitment to recognise international leaders for their achievement. Ivan Savvov thanked Dr Li for her continued effort to improve health conditions for people around the world and stressed the importance of showcasing leading practice for development in healthcare.  

The meeting concluded in agreement to continue and enhance the close work between TLM and EBA in innovation sphere and have further meetings as well as participation in Oxford Summit of Leaders and Socrates Award Ceremony, 19 December 2023, Oxford.

FROM TOGO, KENYA AND SRI LANKA: 1-2 MAY 2023 

Director General Ivan Savvov welcomed an international delegation to Academic Union Oxford for a meeting on social well-being, healthcare and education.

The meeting participants discussed important issues and challenges faced by developing countries in Africa and Asia in social, healthcare and education fields.

Amongst discussed topics were providing accessible healthcare, fighting HIV, improving education as well as creating the right environment for economic growth.

They agreed that EBA and Academic Union community provide a vital platform for discussion and finding solutions and recommit to taking agenda forward.

The Director General thanked the delegates for the role they have played in their country’s prosperity, with large investment and efforts creating jobs, improving healthcare and education.

Mr Ivan Savvov presented the delegates with signs of distinction as a symbol of their ongoing efforts and achievements.

They agreed that volatility of global economy demonstrated, more than ever, the need for likeminded partners to work together to support the economy, health and education around the world.

The delegates committed to continued joint work and future collaboration.
