EBA Director Ivan Savvov meeting with President of TLM Orthotic Centre Dr Li Ming from Singapore: 01 March 2023, EBA Council Chamber, Oxford

The two parties gave presentations and discussed innovative approach in producing orthoses, including braces splints and orthotic footwear. Particularly amongst the topics was the usage of orthotic TLM insoles and braces can help to care illnesses such as bunion, varicose and knee osteoarthritis bib-surgically.

They agreed that this personal meeting in Oxford provides an important opportunity to look at expanding TLM Orthotic Centre into the UK and EU and assistance from international EBA Community.

On behalf of EBA, Ivan Savvov presented Prof Ming Li with Socrates award for continued contribution to the development of modern society in the medical field.

Dr Li Ming praised EBA for ongoing commitment to recognise international leaders for their achievement. Ivan Savvov thanked Dr Li for her continued effort to improve health conditions for people around the world and stressed the importance of showcasing leading practice for development in healthcare.  

The meeting concluded in agreement to continue and enhance the close work between TLM and EBA in innovation sphere and have further meetings as well as participation in Oxford Summit of Leaders and Socrates Award Ceremony, 19 December 2023, Oxford.
