The end of the year is a traditional time for summing up, and honouring the achievements of the best representatives of national business, science, medicine and art. In this unusual year for the world of a pandemic, tradition takes on special significance.
The research centres of the Europe Business Assembly (EBA), supported by partners and experts, continue to investigate regional markets, paying special attention to companies that work effectively, create jobs, and have a positive impact on regional economies and social spheres.
We believe that today, the achievements of the best regional companies and institutions are of particular importance, since they motivate their partners and colleagues and allow them to make optimistic forecasts for the development of various markets.
Following long-term EBA traditions, this year we are very pleased to present sustainable and promising companies and institutions to the global business community, and express our gratitude to them by presenting special awards.
The online New Year reception of the Europe Business Assembly took place on December 15th. Specially selected companies and organizations were invited to the function. Addresses of leaders in various activity fields from industry to medicine and education, speeches, interviews, and online presentation of honourable international awards took place within the framework of the reception.
Ivan Savvov, Founder and Managing Partner of EBA, UK and British Guild of Masters of Ceremony Jeff Harris welcomed participants and presented award winners.
Event presenters included Milan Kuster – General Manager of LUNOS d.o.o., Slovenia, Dato Sri Liow Soon Hee – Chairman of Winner Dynasty Group Sdn Bhd, Djoka Janjušević - Director and CEO of Gudmark Group d.o.o., Serbia, Mauricio Brizuela – CEO of Salles Sainz Grant Thornton, Mexico, Washington de Barros Jr – CEO of Interoceanica Logistics & Solutions, Brazil, Ioan Aschilean, Chairman of the Board of ACI CLUJ SA, Romania and others.
High interest to participants provoked interviews with Amedeo Anniciello – CEO of Standard bank RDC SA, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ranjan Mahtani - Group Chairman & CEO of Epic Designers Limited, Hong Kong, Calin Vasile Neamtu - General Director of Compania de Apa Somes S. A., Romania , Dr Amlaku Asres Zewdie, CEO of Tiret Corporate, Ethiopia and Noor Sheriff - Managing Director of Jamjoom Pharmaceutical Company, Saudi Arabia.
Event participants and guests enjoyed impressive musical greetings from famous British opera and instruments virtuosos, among which were Kieran Rayner - an award-winning New Zealand operatic baritone based in London, Christopher Boodle – a distinguished British organist, Siobhan Swider – a professional Irish harp player, performed at venues such as Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, Royal Academy of Arts, British House of Parliament and Westminster Abbey and Steven Duffy – a professional military bagpiper, who performed for HRM The Queen Elisabeth II.
The reception culminated with new year greetings from - Alan Myatt - a town crier who set two Guinness World Records and a member of the Ancient and Honourable Guild of Town Criers.
