João Domingos Correia, CEO and Chairman of Cabo Verde Telecom.

João Domingos Correia, graduated in Economics Science in 1992 by the University of Casablanca in Morocco, was born on September 26, 1965, in the Municipality of Tarrafal, in the Island of Santiago in Cabo Verde.

He has an MBA in Audit and internal control and MBA in Local Development. He is married and has 4 children. He had attended primary school in Tarrafal and the secondary school level in Praia City, Cape Verde´s capital. Along the years he has been assuming very relevant posts in management and politics functions, currently he is the CEO and Chairman of CVTelecom, a Telecommunications Company, and before that he was the CFO of CVTelecom and

Director of Financial Department of CVTelecom from 1997 to 2000 and from 2015 to 2016. Previously he was a College Account Professor and from 2012 to 2016 he was elected the President of the Municipal Assembly of Tarrafal, Santiago Island, after he was Tarrafal City Mayor from 2000 to 2012 having held from 1993 to 1997 the position of Director of Public Accounting at the Ministry of Finance.
