Activity Overview:
Demolition activity involves a lot of knowledge, self-control and a long experience. Diamond Drilling SRL can perform controlled demolitions with the latest generation of demolition robots and cutting and removal of structural reinforced concrete elements as well.
Diamond drilling is used when circular holes are required in building elements for pipes, ventilation, cable lugs, chemical anchor holes, nuclear waste etc. The size of the drilled holes can be between 16mm - 1100mm in diameter. The grading depths may vary depending on the charging element and the holes position. The maximum depth is 60ml.
Cutting with diamond disk. Our company owns Diamond Cut Diamond Cutting Machines that can attach and cut any concrete element such as a wall, slab, slab, beam, pole or foundation. These cuts can be made up to a depth of 70cm.
Cutting elements can be done with several types of machines such as diamond threads. Diamond Cutting is the most effective way to remove large concrete elements such as foundations, bridges, or to make openings in thick walls. The advantage of cutting diamond wire besides low noise is that theoretically cutting depth is unlimited.
Manual cutting with disc harrows and diamond ring. The perfect solution for thicknesses up to 30cm. With these equipments you can manually cut any type of element. The nuts are of several types: Electric or gasoline engine.

Concrete Breaking
With the new generation of demolition robots, concrete breakage has become a “play”. The demolition robots are equipped with a picon with a power of between 220 Joules and 480 Joules. The impact force can successfully break any concrete thickness and any class. They are also used for industrial works such as Nuclear Power Stations and residential wallbreaking works slabs, pillars, pillars and beams.
Concrete Crushing
Attachments for demolition robots include the Hydraulic Crusher. With a 40cm 360 degree rotation opening, it can crush any structure. The crushing power is 28 tons and is equipped with a knif e for cutting the reinforcement.
Concrete Cutting
Cutting the concrete with the demolition robot has become much faster. A disk of up to 1000mm can be mounted on the special cutting attachment.
Metal Shear
Thanks to the metal cutting attachment, this service has become much faster and easier to achieve. With the 4m robot arm and the rotating 360 degree attachment head, metal cutting can be done in the safest working conditions. Due to the wide range of remote control coverage, the robot can be operated from a distance of up to 300m.
Grabbler
Attachment for handling concrete blocks and demolition waste can help with heavy loads and reduce the risk of injury to workers if Bobcat machines can not charge! With this grabbler accessory, weights can easily be raised up to 500kg.
Industrial Demolition
With the help of robots, we can perform both residential and industrial demolition works such as buildings and structures inside nuclear power stations, melting furnaces, large concrete foundations and others.
Core Drilling
Core drilling is used when a job calls for the drilling of circular holes in reinforced concrete, pre-cast concrete, asphalt, brick, cinder block and other structural materials. Most often the holes are made for electrical, plumbing, heating, sewer and sprinkler installations. Other applications include holes to anchor bolts or lifting rods, to place explosive charges, to install load-carrying devices like dowel bars, or for analysis of the structure or rock.
Wall Sawing
Wall sawing uses a circular blade on a trackmounted machine. The track-mounted wall saw is a fast, accurate method of creating larger openings, using diamond blades. It is typically used to cut precise dimensional openings such as doors, vents and windows. The track is fixed to horizontal walls or steep inclines when the use of a floor saw is not permitted. It is also an ideal option for forming precise openings in any concrete structures. Most frequently openings are cut for doors, windows, vaults, silos, chests, foundations, ducts or large diameter pipes or to remove part or all of existing walls. Work is done on newly poured concrete as well as structures being remodeled or rehabilitated.
Wire Sawing
Diamond wire sawing is the most efficient way to remove large concrete constructions such as foundations and bridges or to make holes in thick walls. The big advantage of wire sawing is that there is basically no limit to the depth that can be cut. Another advantage is that the noise level is reduced considerably.
Concrete Cutting (Hand Sawing/Ring Sawing)
Diamond Drilling SRL incorporates various types of hand sawing equipment to adapt to our clients’ needs and to provide high-safety standards. Various types of hand saws:

- Petrol ring-sawing
- Hydraulic ring-sawing
Floor Sawing
Floor sawing is most commonly used diamond cutting method. It is typically used to cut horizontal flat surfaces such as floors, bridge decks and pavements. Also called slab saws, floor saws feature a diamond blade that is a walk-behind machine requiring one operator only. Floor saws are typically used to provide expansion joints, remove damaged pavement sections, clean expansion joints, clean and prepare random cracks for repairs and to remove concrete sections for demolition purposes.
Electric saws and diesel saws with scrubbers and may be used for inside applications when air quality of low emissions is a priority.
Concrete Bursting
Suitable for the efficient removal/demolition of large volumes of foundations, piers, bearers and walls with thickness of more than 300mm. Core drillings of merely 100mm or 200mm are required to apply an optional range of burster heads. The performance of the bursting system can be increased by using several burster heads simultaneously, thus generating a demolition force of up to 2000 tons.
Wall Chasing
With wall chasing machines, we can do precise openings to the depth and width desired and with no extra damage to the wall. This method can be used for concrete, brick walls and hebel.
Concrete Scanning
Easily inspect floors, walls, decks, slabs, tunnels, balconies and garages. Accurately locate rebar, tension cables, conduits (PVC and metal), voids and measure slab thickness. Locate targets to a depth of 18 inches. Thousands of square feet of concrete can be inspected in a day. Faster, safer and lower cost than radiography (X-ray). Only single-sided access needed.
Sandstone Cutting
Sandstone cutting: Cutting with diamond rock saws produces a good surface finish, uses very little material and can be done with high precision. This makes excavator diamond saws highly suitable for mining and quarrying stone, including stone of high hardness (eg. basalt, granite). With dual blade saws, or single blade saws with adjustable offset extension, parallel cuts of high precision can be achieved. Where there is no cooling water available and/or the material is not too hard, carbide tipped saws can be used. For compressive strength below 40 MP these are just as fast as diamond and require much less operator skill than diamond.

Strenghtening of Concrete Structures
Strengthening of concrete structures can be made with chemical anchors, steel plates and carbon fibers. Chemical anchors. The new concrete is connected with the old one to work as one section by installing the anchor bolts and the binding material before pumping. Special concrete mixture is added for strengthening that prevents shrinking unlike the common concrete. Steel plates incorporates a method of strengthening a concrete section (whether slabs, beams or columns) by using s teel angles to strengthen the concrete structure.
