The real estate sector is the single most dynamic sector whose peaks and troughs have seen extremes in the decade gone by. When the subprime/financial crisis commenced in 2007 till 2009, the realty prices had dipped to an all-time low across the globe but somehow had minimum effect in India. The stock market was the worst hit with almost 250k crores wiped out in a single day, mostly due to FIIs (Foreign Institutional Investors) withdrawing their investments. It was near the end of this crisis, that Dream India Group launched its Hyderabad operations in 2009.
