Nova Wellness Center, formerly Nova Chiropractic Health Center was established on May 28th 2013 with Dr. Naa Asheley Dordor being the lead chiropractor and C.E.O.

In the last five years, Nova Wellness Center has been focused on getting communities and corporations healthier. Our vision is that ALL Ghanaians will become more proactive about their health and prevent disease rather than cure at the last stage.

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we have been running an outreach program for Churches, communities and civil society organizations dubbed “Healthy Spine, Healthy Life Workshop”. We have educated as many churches and communities as possible on the importance of the spine and the role it plays in their health journey. These workshops are free.

Nova Wellness Center has also successfully provided healthy spine workshops and or ergonomic assessments to companies like Graphic Communications, Rig World Services, the Teacher’s Fund, Australian High Commission , and Fidelity bank, only to name a few. We observed how employees sat at their workstations and performed their daily duties. Members of these organizations were then educated on proper ergonomics within the office setting.

The clinic has treated thousands of people for musculoskeletal disorders like back, neck, and joint pain. For 2018 alone, we recorded 864 New Patient visits. We see over 200 regular patients weekly. By using various techniques Nova Wellness Center has brought pain relief to many without the use of drugs or surgery, only Chiropractic adjustments, neuromuscular therapy and massage therapy.

As part of our 5th Anniversary celebration in June 2018, we had free spinal screening where over 300 people received free chiropractic treatment.

We have made donations to 3 orphanages (Potters’ Village in 2013 and 2014, Weep Not Child- 2015, Nyame Dua Orphanage Home- 2017 and 2018).

At least twice a year (since 2016) we visit Aya Community Center for the Elderly in Ellembele in the Western Region of Ghana to provide free Chiropractic treatment to the aged in that community. These are mostly farmers and fisher folks who have severe spinal issues. Seeing the joy in their eyes after their treatment is always gratifying for us.
