Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU) is one of the oldest higher education institutions in whole Caucasus region. TSMU was established at the beginning of 20th century and actually it became one of most the high-ranking state institutions of higher medical education in East Europe. Nowadays, there are approximately 8000 students at the University of whom more than 2300 are international students from 65 countries worldwide (India, Sri Lanka, Turkey, EU countries, the US, Canada, Israel, Germany, Nigeria, Australia, Fiji, Central America, and etc.), studying at the following Faculties: Faculty of Medicine; Faculty of Dentistry; Faculty of Pharmacy; Faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation; Faculty of Public Health.
