Mr Boban Djurović was born on November 10, 1978 in the City of Kraljevo. In 2012 Mr Djurović become mayor of the Municipality  of Vrnjačka Banja and from that moment Vrnjačka Banja experiencing strong development. For the first time in the political history of Vrnjacka Banja, since the introduction of the multiparty system, one man, twice in succession, has gained the confidence of as many as 70% of citizens in creating  Vrnjacka Banja development path. After his graduation from the Secondary School of Forestry in Kraljevo, he was enrolled in the Faculty of Forestry in Belgrade. He distinguished himself with good results in college, and after completing his studies, he gained his first working experience in various organizations in the capital.

He has received a lot of awards and recognitions, which are a great confirmation of his work so far but also an obligation to always push the border forward. He is the chairman of the municipal committee of the Serbian Progressive Party Vrnjacka Banja. Through his work and outstanding management skills he has succeeded in bringing numerous world investors to Vrnjacka Banja and the estimated total value of investments in Vrnjacka Banja in the last three years is more than EUR 100 million. Today, Vrnjacka Banja is number one in terms of total investment in terms of population.

Vrnjačka Banja is a famous spa town situated in the Central Serbia 200 km south from Belgrade. Vrnjacka Banja represents the pearl of Serbian tourism and the most visited tourist place of first category in Serbia. During year Vrnjačka Banja has more than 350.000 visitors with over that 1 million overnights.
