Main achievements in 2017-2018:

• founding the Independence Bell of the Century (100 anniversary of regaining independence)
• creation the Senior City Council
• creation the Youth Students’ Council Initiative
• establishing Volunteering and Youth Initiative Center
• introducing free of charge public transport
• nationwide competition for the most beautiful horse ( contest connected with the city’s history)

• Economic Summit in Lithuania
• Minsk’s band Costa Nova at Music Festival in Sante Egreve Exhibition of art works by local artist Chabrowski in Lacey, US (our partner city)
• Concerts given by a pianist Nazarczuk ( Minsker) in Lacey.

• Polish Cities Association
• Member of Warsaw Metropolis – Eurocities network

International cooperation:

Partner cities study visits, youth exchanges, ongoing cooperation in the field of culture, education and youth work  City hosts annually 35 volunteers who implement education and cultural projects.
