Kharkiv Metropoliten -is the sixth in the CIS and the second in Ukraine oldest underground. This is a modern transporting enterprise by its purpose and technical equipment, it has been operated since August, 23 1975. The average volume of transportations per a day is about 1 million passengers, which is more than a half of the total volume of the city passenger ran spoliations. Annually underground transports about 355,0 million passengers. During the all period of enterprise operation more than 7,5 milliard passengers were transported. Nowadays underground constantly increases volume of passenger transportation and applies new technologies for maintaining high-quality service and providing high security level of trains operation and passenger transportation.
