The Metalworker’s Union emerged to combat the exploitation of companies ant the injustices to which workers were subjected. The Union offers legal counsel and always fights for more and better agreements to workers.

Years of struggle have guaranteed a little dignity and the recognition of the working class. The always Strong and active union representation was responsible for the achievements of countless benefits and great victories.

The main banner of The Metalworkers’ Union from Aluminio and Mairinque is to develop a broad negotiating environment in collective bargaining, guarantee better agreements to workers, defend and expand the interest and rights of the category it represents. Fairer wages, a guarantee of benefits, the guarantee of the Convenção Coletiva de Trabalho, better quality of life, and offering many leisure options to workers and their families are some of the achievements of the Union.

The Metalworkers’ Union fights, acts in favor of social and educational causes, and also acts in environmental causes. The Union represents and its a mediator in internatinal discussions between Union groups and actively participates in events, forums, meetings, in various places around the world.

We created an educational institute that offers a lot of qualification courses to workers - CEPAM.

And now the Trade Union has the first land division for workers with better prices and facilities to pay that.
