Mr. Donald Roy Joseph Abed  is a philanthropist both on a public and private scale, and is the Owner & Founder of his own charity, Association Donald Roy Abed De Bienfaisance, where he funds projects for communities, in order to strengthen employment rates, standards of living, and allowing communities in local villages not to have to urbanize for work. (Services such as generators for villages and town without 24-hours electricity, clinics with up to date medical equipment for those who live far away from nearest hospital, sewage projects for villages who do not have basic facilities in their homes, etc.) Outside local communities & villages, his charity has branched out to other countries in extending their help to others, so they may benefit from better lives, assisting the poor through charitable donations, bettering their standards of living, in the same ways mentioned above. Furthermore, the charity works to provide assistance to building both Churches and Mosques with the completion of recently two large mosques in  The Sultanate of Oman, in areas from the capital, called Masjed Al Rahman with a capacity for up to 1500 people, and Masjed Al Noor, with a capacity for up to 600 people.
