The editorial board of ‘Socrates Almanac’ invites all scientists from higher education and research institutions, as well as practitioners and other interested persons to participate in the scientific and practical conferences ‘Oxford debate’.

In accordance with the results of the conferences, a collection of materials that has all the necessary attributes and ISBN number is issued. In addition conference materials are placed on the Socrates Almanac website.

Each participant receives the registered certificate of the approved form.

Pictures, tables, schemes, formulas

Must be placed immediately after the text, where they are mentioned for the first time, or on the next page. Schemes should be grouped. Formulas are typed using the formula editor in Microsoft Word. The font size of the text table is usually 2 points smaller than the main font. The number of tables, formulas and illustrations should be minimal and relevant. Pictures and tables on landscape pages are not accepted.

References to the sources

For printed sources: [1, p. 101],

No more than 5 pages.
‘References’ are included into the total volume of materials.

Sequence of structural elements placement
• The first line – full name of the author(s).
• The second line - place of employment or study, country (for each co-author – all the same from the new line).
• The third line – title of the report.
• The text of the report.
• References (see below).


Rules for references to the literature and bibliographic description
• The reference to the source is to be made in square brackets with indicating the page numbers of the source
An example of providing a reference to the literature in the text:
‘What art thou, that usurp'st this time of night,
Together with that fair and warlike form
In which the majesty of buried Denmark
Did sometimes march? By heaven I charge thee, speak!’
[1, p. 111] or [2, p. 22; 8, p. 222].
• After the text literature is provided in the format of ‘References’ (where the data in Ukrainian / Russian is transliterated, and sources in English, French, and German remain in their original form.
